With heavy hearts and loving remembrance, we celebrate the life of a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as it was unforgettable
Mary Ann (Annie) Wilson, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, she was 65. Annie was born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late, Fred and Irene Wilson.
Mary Ann (Annie) Wilson leaves behind her devoted and loving husband, James (Jim/Jimmy) Yeatman, along with a circle of family and friends who will carry her memory forward with deep affection.
She has now been reunited with many cherished family members, as well as all of her beloved fur and feathered babies who brought her so much joy throughout her life.
Annie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—getting out of the house for a ride, exploring new places, enjoying golf cart rides, and spending time visiting and feeding farm animals. She especially loved children and found great joy in watching them play on the farm, their laughter and curiosity bringing an extra light to her days alongside the animals she adored. These moments reflected her love of freedom, nature, and connection.
Known for her ornery, spunky, and sassy personality, Annie brought laughter, honesty, and energy into every room she entered. She lived life on her own terms, leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her. Annie will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
A Memorial Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE. This will be a time to come in and pay your respects to Annie and her family.
