Linda M. Wyatt

Linda M. Wyatt, Seaford, passed away peacefully at the Delaware Hospice Center, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, she was 73. Mrs. Wyatt was born in Dorchester County, MD to the late, Frances and Robert Lee Simmons Sr.

Mrs. Wyatt worked for many years as an office manager for several doctors’ offices before her retirement.

One of her favorite activities was traveling; Pigeon Forge, TN was one of her favorites to visit. She also looked forward to family gatherings because she loved to cook, and everyone looked forward to her cooking. Mrs. Wyatt was the true matriarch of the family, she tried her hardest to make sure everyone was taken care of even before her own needs, and everyone relied on her advice and knowledge and never hesitated to ask her questions. She will be remembered as very outgoing and loved to talk. She could strike up a conversation with a stranger and within a couple of minutes it was like she known them her whole life. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles A. Wyatt; children, Jeff Wyatt, Scott Henry, Vernon Henry, Lester Wyatt; brother, Robert Lee Simmons Jr. (Dorothy); sister-in-law, Norma Trader; brother-in-law, Robert Wyatt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 12 Noon, at the Hollywood Cemetery, Milford-Harrington Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952.
