Leah L. “Snook” Sapp, Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 20, 2025, she was 79. Mrs. Sapp was born in York, PA to the late Ervin and Dorothy Witmer.
Mrs. Sapp worked as a manager for Happy Harrys for many years, a job she enjoyed doing. She had also previously worked as the secretary for Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrington.
Mrs. Sapp’s primary focus in life was her family. She dedicated every spare minute she could to her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved to babysit and do activities with. Her grandchildren were truly the love of her life. Other hobbies included shopping trips, traveling, loving on her animals, and the casino. She also loved spending time with her best friend in the whole world, Hazel Robinson and family, and together they formed a bond and friendship that was as strong as family. She and Hazel loved to get together after watching their favorite television shows, Survivor and Big Brother and comparing notes. She will be missed dearly.
The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their kind and caring service during this difficult time, especially Nurses Diana, Tina, and Taylor. They would also like to extend their appreciation to Pastor Mark Lewis and Pastor Martha Callaway for their words of encouragement, prayers, and visits.
