Joan Elizabeth Bradley, from Houston, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, At Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, she was 79. Mrs. Bradley was born to the late, Woodrow and Elizabeth Crosby.

Mrs. Bradley worked in Quality Control for LD Caulk for over 37 years. Some of her favorite activities included surf fishing and going to Cape Hatteras with her late husband. She enjoyed watching football and baseball. The Eagles and the Phillies were her favorite teams. She also enjoyed reading, with mystery novels being her favorite. Mrs. Bradley loved her house plants and flowers especially her Christmas Cactus, African Violets, and she also nurtured her many rose bushes outside. Cooking family meals was her way to spend quality time with her family, something she cherished very much.

Mrs. Bradley will be remembered for her warm and welcoming personality, who never met a stranger. She was accepting to all and could strike up a conversation with anyone, she will be sadly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Bradley Sr.; son, Mark Bradley; and a daughter in law, Teresa Bradley

She is survived by her son, Richard Bradley Jr., Lucille Singer; grandchildren, Shannon Palmer, Rachel Bradley, Kristen Singer. She is also survived by her brothers in law, Jack and Mike Bradley who were like brothers to her.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 20026, at 12 Noon, at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, with a visitation starting at 11 AM.  Interment will immediately follow the service at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Houston Vol. Fire Department.
