Jean E. Hopkins

Jean E. Hopkins, 95 of Houston, DE passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, Milford, DE. She was the daughter of the late, Gilbert and Minnie Kauffman.

Jean was a kind, but private person who traveled the United States with her husband “Hop” on their motorcycle. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden, reading and watching television.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Olen T. “Hop” Hopkins, and sister, Alice Catron.

She is survived by her sister, Jaqueline Thomas; nephews, John Lenik, Wilbur J. Catron, Jr.; niece Carol Kennie and several great and great great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE.
