Donna Lee Tribbet, MAGNOLIA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, she was 69. Donna was born in Pennsylvania to the late, Robert E. and Nancy J. Stubbs.

Donna was a hard worker all of her life, until she retired in 2016 from Food Lion as a cashier in both the Harrington and Dover locations. She was affectionately known by staff and the public as the woman with a flower in her hair, which was her signature style. She was well liked by all that knew her.

In her younger years, Donna enjoyed riding Harleys. She also enjoyed going to carnivals, the slots, and going to the beach. She especially enjoyed going with her husband James to Lewes, DE to get oyster sandwiches, and travelling with him to Virginia and North Carolina. Donna loved being with her grandkids and spending as much time as possible with them. She was very religious and looked forward to going to church every Sunday, she had a special relationship with God. She will be fondly cherished and remembered as a loving and beautiful woman who will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family, and close friends.

She is survived by her doting husband, James A. Tribbett; daughter, Ashlee Hudgins; son, Gary Campbell; sister, Barbara Hoskins; brother, Bob Stubbs; grandchildren, Isaiah Hudgins and Alicia Sierra.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at 11 AM, with a visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow the funeral at the Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
