Cindy Lee Snow

It is with saddened hearts that we announce that Cindy Lee Snow, of Harrington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Bayhealth-Sussex Campus, she was 66. Cindy was born in Baltimore, MD to the late George Willman and Carole Smith.

Cindy served her country proudly in the United States Air Force, something she was extremely proud of and honored to be a veteran of this country. She continued her love of the military and anything patriotic throughout her life and was extremely proud of her son who also served in the United States Marine Corp. Cindy worked as a waitress for Derby’s of Harrington. She was much more than a waitress as she acquired many friends working there and served so many from the community, always with a smile. After a long day working, she looked forward to coming home to family and her cats. Her cats gave her so much love and joy in life, and she was very active in the TNR (trap, neuter, release) program through the Brandywine Valley SPCA of Georgetown. When she was not snuggling with her cats, she enjoyed gardening, hanging out in her pool, and her yearly visits to the ocean with her sister.

Cindy will be remembered as a loving person who would help anyone out in need. Her sparkle, zest for life, love of her country, family and cats will be forever missed.

In addition to her mother, Carole Smith, she is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Snow Sr.; children, Jeremy Barber, Kenneth Barber, Amelia Barber; stepchildren, Stephen Snow Jr., Krystle Santiago, Kristyn Murphy, Stephenie Snow; sisters, Thrasa Harris, Stacy Bicker; grandchildren, Richard Garland, Sophia Barber, Hunter Barber; step grandchildren, Robert Santiago, Thomas Santiago, Kalli Santiago, Liam Murphy, Lincoln Murphy, Emma Snow, Lofton Snow. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, between the hours of 3 and 5 PM, at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952.

In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Cindy who was extremely supportive of this organization, donations are strongly encouraged to the Brandywine Valley SPCA of Georgetown, www.bvspca.org
