Beatrice Kerrison

Miss Beatrice "Bea" Kerrison, 92, of Milford, DE received her wings on June 23, 2026. Born August 9, 1933, to Addie Mae (Kerrison) McGill in Charleston, South Carolina. A kind, loving woman who will be missed by those who called her mom, grandma and friend. 

A retired union worker in New York, NY who made time for friends and family alike. Beatrice could be counted on for sound advice, a slice of homemade cake and a warm hug. An avid traveler, she has traveled to Mexico, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and many more. Beatrice lived to love the Lord and served on the Usher Board of the Deliverance Evangelistic Center (New Jersey). She continued service in her local church; Milford Church of God (Delaware). A true southern belle, and socialite Bea was always best dressed and poised. She loved to host, cook, and attend church events. 

In addition to her mother, Beatrice is preceded in death by her siblings; Richard Kerrison, Nathan McGill, Ethel McGill, children: Gloria Williams, Ferman Kerrison and Samuel Sass Jr & granddaughter, Shawntee Morris. 

She is watching over daughters Cleopatra Nixon, Alneatha Kerrison, Rebecca Montgomery and son, Darrell Kerrison. Fifteen grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren will remember her legacy. Join the family to say our final goodbyes, Beatrice's viewing and going home service will begin at 12pm and 1pm respectively on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Thomas E.
