Anna Anhalt Alosi

Anna M. Anhalt Alosi, 97, of Lewes, passed away on February 27, 2026 at Beebe Hospital, Lewes. She was the daughter of the late Elwood and Mary Akin.

Anna was a homemaker, who enjoyed painting, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked watching the Young and the Restless on TV daily and playing Pogo Games on the computer. Anna was a friendly, upbeat lady who was loved by her neighbors, friends, family and all she came into contact with. She was a former member of the Milford Church of the Nazarene, Harrington Senior Center, and the USTA Horseman Association. Anna was a current member of the Seaside Baptist Church in Lewes and the Lewes Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husbands, Frank M. Anhalt and John R. Alosi Sr; 1 grandson and one great granddaughter.

Anna is survived by her daughters, M. Kathleen Appleton (Robert) and Patricia Jones (W. Robert); step sons, John Alosi Jr, Edward Alosi, and David Alosi; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Donations can be made in Anna’s honor, in lieu of flowers, to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11 AM, with a visitation starting at 10 AM, at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE. Interment will follow immediately after at the Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.

Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington.
