Linda Mae Cane

Linda Mae Cane, Felton, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, from her home surrounded by the family she loved dearly, she was 68. 

Linda worked for the past 30 years as a Certified Nurses Assistant with the Felton Convalescent Home, until her health prevented her from doing so.  In her spare time, she loved playing Bingo with friends and her daughter Kathryn, and going shopping.  She enjoyed listening to George Jones and even got to see him in concert once.  She also enjoyed playing cards, and above else being around her family.  She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her step parents, William and Kathryn Powell; siblings, Walter Willey and Barbara Willey.

She is survived by her husband, William Cane; sons, Gerald Cane, William Eric Cane Sr.; daughter, Kathryn (Joseph) Lloyd, siblings, Sharon Willey, Wayne Willey; grandchildren, Jessica Cane, Robert Cane, William Eric Cane Jr., Alexis Cane; one great grandchild, Arion Rowan, two special nephews, Jimmy Smith, Michael Willey; her special friend, Betty Fletcher; her bingo buddy, Louis Davidson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 1PM, with a viewing one hour prior to the service, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE.  Interment will follow at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
