Lee C. Waterman Sr., Dover, DE, formerly of New York, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, he was 67. He was born in Corning, NY to Raymond Lee and Eufala Waterman.
Mr. Waterman was a self employed auto mechanic who owned his own shop both in New York and Delaware. He loved to work on cars and was quite good at it.
When he was not busy working, he loved being with his dogs, loved to read, and like to watch car and cop shows and movies. He enjoyed sitting and talking with his friends and neighbors, and was always a big jokester. Above all he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much and will be sadly missed.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Tice.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Waterman; children, Angel (Donald) Jones, Lee Waterman II, Lynn Brantis, Brian Tice, George Tice, Corri Maloney, William Tice; and two grandchildren whom they helped raise, Walter and Raymond Waterman; 40 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of brothers and sisters.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
