Glenna Cooper Obituary

Glenna M. Cooper, of Milford, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Delaware Hospice Center of Milford, she was 78.  Glenna was born in Dagsboro to the late Vangie and Melva Lynch.

Straight out of high school, Glenna went to work helping her father riding tractors and baling hay.  She saw the need to help support her sister and her sister's kids, so she worked 3 different jobs to do just that.  Her various jobs through out her life,  included working for Arrow Safety Devices for 14 years, with National Cash Register until they closed, the English Grill, and also for the Drive In of Dagsboro. She married Byron E. Cooper Sr., late in life, but after being married only 10 months, he unfortunately passed away.

When she was not hard at work, Glenna enjoyed playing on her computer and Ipad.

In addition to her parents and husband, Glenna is preceded in death by her sisters, Hilda Townsend and Charlotte Quillen.

She leaves behind her adopted family who loved her dearly, William M. (Joelle) Vincent Jr. and family.

A Graveside Service will take place at the St. Georges UMC Cemetery,  Clarksville, DE at 11 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
