Chuck F. Nugent

Chuck F. Nugent  of Milford, went to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from the Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, he was 69.  Chuck was born in New York to the late Gertrude and Charles F. Nugent Sr.

Chuck retired as a supervisor for the Sussex Company in Milford after 41 years of dedicated employment.  Chuck had many loves in his life.  He loved his country and was adament in displaying the American Flag on designated occasions.  He loved his family dearly and he loved his church dearly.  Most of all, he loved his God first and foremost. 

Chuck had many hobbies.  He loved anything to do with trains, loved movies, classic cars, Nascar, bike riding, sci-fi, playing jokes on his wife, coloring with his granddaughter Lily, and anything to do with nature especially feeding the birds and squirrels.  Once he got married, he embraced his wife's family and welcomed her brother and sisters as his own.  He will be remembered as a great man who loved his family unconditionally, he was truly an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.

Chuck was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church of Frederica.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian T. Nugent of Milford; daughter, Christy (husband, Kevin) Church of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lily and James Church; a brother and sister in laws and extended family.

Services will take place at the Freedom Baptist Church, 201 Market St., Frederica, DE, on Thursday, December 21, at 1 PM, with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior.  Interment will take place in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
