Chelsea Wooters, Harrington, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Christiana Care Hospital, she was 30. Chelsea is the daughter of Ronald and Shelly Wooters of Harrington.
Chelsea worked as an assistant with home health care. She was a hard worker, and was always on the go. She enjoyed helping people and would drop everything to help others or help any of her friends in need, no matter the day or time.
Chelsea loved being outdoors, and especially loved to be at the beach. She loved sports and bowling, and played volleyball and soccer when she was in school. Winter was a favorite season as she loved snow and loved to be in the snow whether snowmobiling, sledding, or four wheeling. She loved animals and she loved to rescue them, her dog Marley was a rescue from the SPCA.
Chelsea will be remembered as a very independent strong willed woman, but also very loving and caring. Her greatest joy in life was becoming a mother to Caylie. Caylie was always priority number 1 and her whole life revolved around her. Her zest for life and outgoing carefree nature will forever be missed by her family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Remington, Robert Wooters, Leroy Calhoun; and her boyfriend, Bobby Walls.
She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Shelly Wooters; daughter, Caylie Walls; grandmother, Doris Calhoun; aunts and uncles, Terry (Ruthie) Calhoun, Sherry (Jeff) Clark, Kelly (Steve) Willey, Bruce Pleasanton, Wayne Pleasanton; cousins, Lisa (Mark) Cooper, Paula Everett, as well as Sarah, Clayton, Jessie, Tara, Steven.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 12, at 1 PM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE. A visitation will be held between 11AM and 1PM. Interment will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
