Thomas Odell “Tom” Crawford, of Harrington, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the age of 77. He was born in WV to the late Elwood and Ruth Crawford.
Tom graduated from Fayetteville High School (WV) in 1957 and attended Beckley College.
Tom was proud of his work as a Purchasing/Materials Manager with most of his career at Black & Decker and other companies in Texas and New Jersey. He was a member of the Houston United Methodist Church, Houston, DE.
Tom enjoyed watching football, college basketball, as well as golfing and fishing. He coached girls and women’s softball and basketball for many years and was president of the Sports Booster at Westminster High School in MD. Tom enjoyed cooking and smoking meat, especially ribs. Though Tom liked to joke with people, he could be quick to anger, yet quicker to forgive without holding grudges. Tom was very devoted to his whole family.
