Sadie Mae CarterMay 9, 2017
Sadie Mae Carter, 80, of Harrington, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from the Milford Hospice Center. She was born in Felton, DE to the late Lester and Mina Killen.
Mrs. Carter retired from the ILC of Frederica. She was the model for the first space suit that was ever manufactured, something she was very proud of. One of her favorite activities was watching the squirrels and birds outside feeding and frolicking around.
Mrs. Carter truly loved her family. She loved life in general and was always there for you when needed. She never met a stranger and was known as a sweetheart. She had numerous friends, along with her family, that could testify about her sweet, caring, and loving nature. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the Lane family, Cindy, Steve, and Sam Lane, as well as Faye Boone for the love and care that they bestowed on Mrs. Carter.
