Norman E. Dill, 92
FELTON — Norman E. Dill of Felton, son of the late Earl and Myrtle Dill, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Kent General Campus. He was 92 years old.
Norman proudly served his country as a World War II veteran of the US Army. He worked as an operator in Road construction for Tilcon.
Always busy, Mr. Dill loved to tinker in his shop and could fix almost anything. He took great pride in making and putting out his purple martin houses each year. He was kind, generous, thoughtful and always helping others. He especially enjoyed family time and spoiling his grandchildren. In addition, he was an avid fan of Nascar, the Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.
Besides his parents; Norman was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Needles.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee; sons, Rhett (Ellen )Dill, and Jeffery (Linda) Kraemer; daughter, Donna (David “Tater” ) J. Blough; ten grandchildren, Scarlett (Bill) Milliken, Bradley, Alex, and Kyle Kraemer, Michael (Sarah) Hause, Garrett Arthur, David, Craig, Colby, and Logan Blough; and four great- grandchildren, Gabbi and Caitlyn Milliken, Chase and Rylee Hause; and a brother, William E. Dill.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016, also at Melvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
