Michel Paul Calvert

Michel P. Calvert of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.  He was 54 years old.  He was the son of  Harold T. and the late Dolores H. Calvert.

Michel was a 1980 graduate of Woodbridge High School and spent his life working on his family's farm.  He lived simply and worked hard.  In addition to farming, Michel was an avid deer tracker and hunter.  He was a very easy-going person that preferred to keep to himself, but was very devoted to his family, especially his parents. He will be greatly missed. 

In addition to his mother, Michel was preceded in death by his son, Jordan Michel Calvert.

He is survived by his father, Harold T. Calvert; sisters, Lisa D. Calvert, and Gina (R. Wayne) Smith; and brother, Mark (Trina) Calvert.

A Memorial Service will take place at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy. Harrington, DE 19952 at 12:00pm Wednesday, September 20, 2017, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of his loving mother, Dolores to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
