Larry Alan Sines, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from his home, surrounded by the family he loved dearly.  Larry was 55.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Larry Dodd and Barbara T. Sines.

Larry was a self employed general contractor for over 35 years.  His main area of expertise was roofing, siding, and blacktop.  Larry loved what he did, and was a hard worker and quite the workaholic.  He taught his skills to his children and anyone else who came along and was eager to learn.  He would help anybody who asked.

In his spare time, Larry loved to hunt and fish, and was a serious outdoorsman.  He loved his Harleys and riding the countryside and took many multi-state trips on his bike.  His custom Fat Boy was his baby.  As his kids were growing up, he made sure to attend every school function, practice, game, served as little league coach, and was even part of the PTA.  When it came to his children, he made sure his voice was heard.  He was loyal to a fault, and stuck up for you whether you were right or wrong, he made sure to have your back.  Larry was also a great cook, and loved to BBQ.  People came from all around to sample his secret recipes and BBQ.

Larry will be remembered as being tough as nails.  There was no one tougher then he was, and things were done his way, and his way only.  He had a way with words, and if he could not find the right word to fit the situation, he made up his own.  Although he was tough, he was fun to be around, and he had a caring heart.  Having 6 precious granddaughters around would soften the toughest of hearts, and they had their pop-pop wrapped around their fingers.  He truly adored them.  His greatest attribute was his sense of family, and being there for them no matter what.  Knowing his time was drawing near, Larry gave his heart to Jesus and secured his mansion in Heaven waiting for the day for all his family to join him.      

Larry is survived by his wife of almost 26 years, Brandi Sines of Milford; children, Michelle (Jake) Brunskill, Brandi (Chris) Siwarski, Larry (Amber) Sines, Lucas Sines; uncle, George (Sue) Kronberger; granddaughters, Natalia, Nevaeh, Gabriella, Isabel, Larena, Alonna and Baby girl Sines due in June; and his dogs, Bella and Hammer.

Services will take place at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1PM .  A visitation for family and friends will take place two hours prior to the service.  Interment will take place at a later date.
