Julia Acker

Julia Acker, of Bridgeville, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2017, surrounded by her family at home at the age of 70.  She was the daughter of the late Grover and Hazel DeHart.

Mrs. Acker was a homemaker who was known for her compassion as she spent most of her life taking care of her family. She was outgoing, caring, and loved by all who knew her.

In her spare time, she liked to paint and plant flowers.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Acker is preceded in death by her husband,  Larry Acker.

Mrs. Acker is survived by her son, Wade Bowesox (Elania); and step daughters, Sheree McCurdy, Lou Jones, and Caroline Lensbower.

Services will be held at the family’s discretion.                                 .
