To the Family of Joanna T. Gibson, I was deeply saddened to learn of Joanna's passing recently, and was so sorry that I didn't get to see her before, we often conversed by phone, Joanna was always a genuine and beloved friend to me from the time we met @EPA, My husband and I will forever cherish our times we spent with her in Felton, she was always so hospitable, and friendly, we loved her country home and always felt so welcomed,and enjoyed our time spent with her, our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with u all at this time of your loss.

Miss Joanna, you have forever changed countless lives in Delaware through the hard work, unique abilities, and wisdom you so generously shared with Delaware’s Medicare beneficiaries, guiding them through troubled waters and leading them to eventual victory. I am SO grateful for all you patiently taught me about helping others through this confusing system – and what a great time we had! Your truly shocking chutzpah cracked me up over and over; you had me both laughing and in awe of your amazing ingenuity, all at the same time, but wow, did you ever manage to blast right through those obstacles and bring your counselees into a place of peace and relief from their issues. You transformed them from victims to victors in a way that only YOU could pull off! You, my friend, will remain a legend in the Senior Medicare Patrol forever.
Mostly, precious Joanna, I want to thank you for the wonderful gift you gave me; trusting me with your vulnerability. You opened the door of your heart to me a little and let me in, allowing me to love you. That meant the world to me.
