Faye Johneene Miller

Faye Johneene Miller of Harrington, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Christiana Hospital. She was 56. Faye had fought a long battle with severe diabetes and other illnesses.

Faye was a 1979 graduate of Lake Forest High School, Felton, Delaware.  She worked many years as an in home caregiver.  She enjoyed taking care of her patients and making them happy.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, neighbor, and friend.  Her cooking was phenomenal, and she loved to do needle crafts, and spend time with her family.

Faye is preceded in death by her mother, Cornelia Elizabeth Patrick; her father, John Torbert; and her stepfather, Leroy Patrick. 

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, George Miller, of Harrington; son, Chris Miller of Harrington; daughter, Lauren Miller of Harrington; sister, Aileen (Greg) Cartwright, of Greenwood; brother, Bruce (Laura) Patrick, of Harrington; brother, Greg (Mary) Patrick of Milford; granddaughter, Hannah who loved her mommom dearly; and several nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Memorial services for Faye Johneene Miller who passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, will be held on Friday May 12, 2017 at 11am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 100 S 5th Ave, Denton, MD 21629. A visitation for family and friends will take place from 9am to 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Faye's memory to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Kidney Fund.
