Blain E. "Pop" Tucker, of Frederica, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, from the Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, he was 74. Pop Tucker was born in Charleston, WV to the late Clayton and Mammie Tucker.
Pop, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for four years. After the service, he worked in plumbing, heating, and cooling, initially with Gillis Plumbing, then with the Delaware State University which he retired from.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cutting firewood. He was always proud of his garden and known for his lima beans, tomatoes, and squash, and known to feed half his neighborhood with his bounty. Pop was a proud family man and family was his life.
