Our Facilities

Our comfortable modern chapel can seat over 300 people in well padded pews. The décor is light and airy and our ceiling glitters that many people refer to as "the stars of heaven"

We have a separate family room...

and we are fully handicap accessible.

Our funeral home offers a spacious well lit parking lot in the front and rear.

Our new carport offers shelter from the elements as the casket is loaded into our Eagle Hearse.

Our lobby is spacious and contains our register book stand.

In 2001, we updated our casket showroom into the "quarter cut" design. Only a portion of the caskets are displayed.

Our newly refurbished arrangement office is now more comfortable. We have a television that children can use during visitations if they get restless.

Our arrangement room has a cremation wall with urn samples...

a dedicated veterans wall with specials for veterans...

and a vault display to showcase the types of vaults.

Since we opened our doors, we have memorialized every person that we served with a brass nameplate that is placed on our "In Memory Board". We were the first and only funeral home in this state to offer this.

Our share table and collage boards in our chapel offers families a chance to display mementos and pictures of their loved ones.

Brand new to the Melvin Funeral Home, this 42 inch Plasma TV. We have the ability to create tribute DVD's of a loved one. These DVD's are played during visitations.

We also have an Ark that families may opt to use for cremation services. An urn is placed inside the Ark, and four pallbearers carry the Ark from the hearse to the graveside.
